I put the disc back into the PS2 Slim and MADE SURE that all three clamps were holding the disc. I secured it into my laptop drive and it actually read it! I thought I had a chance! I take out the disc and realize that I haven't been pushing the disc in all the way. I then went back to the damp cloth and look for lint and what not and wiped those off.
It didn't work, I went to the browser, and it said it couldn't read the disc. Wash the disc with a damp cloth of water, going from the center of the disc to the outer edges in straight lines and no circles. At this point I will describe, in order, what I have done in attempt to get my DVD disc to work: For one thing, the PS2 won't load it like my CD disc, as in it doesn't go to the screen to boot the backup PS2 games.
